Zadul Macad has been dedicated to supporting 40 orphan children by providing Ksh. 3000 per child to their mothers at Wajir, Kenya. This amount is allocated with Ksh. 1000 specifically for Islamic school fees, while the remaining Ksh. 2000 is used for the children’s upkeep. For nearly two years, this initiative has been instrumental in ensuring that these children receive both education and basic necessities. However, due to recent financial constraints, the organization was only able to provide Ksh. 1000 for school fees last month (July 2024). There is growing concern that even this minimal amount may not be sustainable in the coming months. To continue their support, Zadul Macad is appealing to well-wishers for contributions to help maintain these vital services. We have provided detailed information about most of the 40 orphan children we are supporting, including photos of the children and contact information for their mothers. This transparency allows anyone interested in learning more or contributing to the cause to directly reach out to the mothers or contact Zadul Macad officials. The organization encourages well-wishers to connect with them for further details on how to support these children and help sustain their education and well-being during these challenging times.
Zadul Macad’s long-term vision includes the establishment of an orphanage center to provide a secure and nurturing environment for these children and others. If the necessary funds are secured, the organization plans to:
Facility Development:The initial step would involve acquiring land and constructing a purpose-built orphanage center. The facility would include living quarters, classrooms, a dining area, and recreational spaces, all designed to ensure the well-being of the children.Staffing and Operations: The orphanage will require a team of dedicated caregivers, educators, administrators, and support staff to manage daily operations. Zadul Macad plans to hire and train staff to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that the children’s physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. Ongoing operational costs, including salaries, utilities, maintenance, and supplies, will be covered by the funds.
Education and Religious Instruction:The orphanage center will offer integrated educational programs that combine formal education with Islamic religion education. This approach will ensure that children receive a well-rounded education that supports their cultural and spiritual growth. Feeding and Nutrition :Establishing a consistent and nutritious feeding program is essential. The center will include a kitchen and dining facilities to prepare and serve meals, ensuring that all children receive adequate nutrition. To reduce dependency on donations, the center may also establish gardens or small-scale farming projects to provide a portion of the food needed..To realize this vision, Zadul Macad requires significant financial support. This includes funding for:
Initial Capital :For land acquisition, construction, or renovation, and for purchasing essential furnishings and equipment. Operational Costs : Covering salaries, utilities, food, medical care, and educational supplies. In addition to financial contributions, collaboration with local governments, NGOs, and community leaders will be crucial for the orphanage’s sustainability. Volunteer involvement will also play a key role in reducing costs and building a strong support network for the children.
Finally, donations of goods such as clothing, books, toys, and other essentials, along with professional services from doctors, educators, and counselors, will greatly benefit the children and enhance the quality of care provided at the orphanage. With these resources, Zadul Macad aims to create a safe and supportive environment where orphaned children can thrive and achieve their full potential.
